Tree’s of a Manufactured Life

I am currently working on a new collection of wire sculptures!
The collection is called ‘Tree’s of a Manufactured Life’.
The trees will comprise of wire and metal objects that may be found around a construction site. They are to represent the rise in disposable manufacturing, things built to be replaced. Trees are known to be strong and mature, to live through centuries of tests by mother nature. However what of the ones built purely for the manufacture of temporary products and structures?
Unlike these, a Kelly Jade ‘Tree of a Manufactured Life’ will live forever with a loving and safe place in your home! I plan to hold an exhibition as well as having the trees on the site for sale.
More information will be available here at gallery.seankingonline.com when they are complete.

In a day and age of expensively crappy products you seem to have chosen a definitive and creative concept of portrayal. I can’t wait to see (and possibly own) a piece of this work!
